Our Story

Born from a Love of Fashion, Travel, and Family

Fashion

Growing up, fashion wasn’t just something I admired; it was a part of my everyday life. My dad, who ran a clothing business, would come home with stacks of magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. I’d sit there flipping through the pages, completely lost in the beauty of the clothes, dreaming of one day creating my own. Even then, I felt like those glossy pages were calling me to a future in fashion.

When I was 15, my dad started bringing me along to his meetings. I got a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of fashion, from setting up showrooms to working with buyers. It wasn’t just exciting—it felt like I was getting closer to something I was meant to do.

Travel

But there’s more to my story than fashion. I’ve always been a wanderer at heart, chasing the feeling of freedom that comes with exploring new places. Whether it was a road trip to Ranthambore or a getaway to the Maldives, traveling has always filled me up with fresh ideas. It’s in those moments—standing by the ocean, feeling the breeze, or smelling the rain in the mountains—that I find inspiration for my designs.

After graduating from Parsons, I knew I had to start something that captured both my love for travel and fashion. I began sketching dresses and tops that felt easy, effortless, and a little bit special—clothes that could make you feel like you’re already on vacation, even if you’re just heading to brunch.

Family

That’s how Calling June was born. It’s not just a brand; it’s a feeling—a way to bring the spirit of escape into your everyday life. Our pieces are for women who, like me, love to explore, dream big, and embrace the joy of adventure.

And why “Calling June”? Because June is not only the start of summer—a time when days feel longer and everything feels possible—but also the birth month of my favorite niece and nephew. That makes it extra special, just like every piece we create.

Cheerful. Radiant. Energising.

Welcome to Calling June, where every piece tells a story of wanderlust, style, and a little bit of family love.
