Cotton linen gives the bustier structure and a textured base for the raised cording. A cotton voile lining adds a layer of coverage. The fabric holds the fitted shape.

DESIGN & CRAFT

Concentric rope cording is applied by hand, following the curves of the beige bodice and neckline. The repeated lines give the whole surface dimension. Hand cording at this density takes time, and it shows.

FIT & SILHOUETTE

A fitted bustier with slim shoulder straps, a sweetheart neckline and a shaped hem. The shoulders are mostly bare. Layer an open jacket or cardigan over it for winter.
